The British Teaching Diploma
The British Teaching Diploma is an internationally recognised Diploma, equivalent in standard to a masters degree.
This fully UK endorsed, Level 7 certificated teacher training and continuous professional development diploma, is delivered in partnership by Dragonfly Training Ltd and Cardiff and Vale College.
The BTD contains the essentials of a British PGCE and focuses on the best of British and global pedagogy at only a fraction of the price.

Who is the BTD for?
The BTD is aimed at staff who want to become effective and confident teachers, and who wish to attain an endorsed British Teaching Diploma, the learning from which can be put into immediate practice in international educational settings.
The BTD helps to upskill colleagues to master the tools and aptitudes of highly effective teachers. This, in turn, adds huge value to institutions, helping learners to achieve even better outcomes.
Successful completion of the BTD attracts 39 credits and provides a solid underpinning of pedagogy for attendees who may wish to embark on a full PGCE or similar qualification aimed at achieving Qualified Teacher Status at a future point.
